about
Good, For Nothing
We’ve become a society using social media to portray a false life by taking snapshots of fabricated moments. The desire for likes are taking a toll on our mental health, especially our youths.
Social media influencers are idolised by the youth as role models, yet the real role models are voiceless. The nurses, teachers, first responders etc..They are making a real difference in this world.
If people spent more time focusing on their real lives, rather than focusing on their on-screen lives, we’d be taking steps to a better space for our next generations.
lyrics
V1
Good, from the bad, My integrity
Light, from a spark, will it set us free?
Don't throw away your selfless side
It won't go unseen..
This life, society has made, doesn't care for you..
So are we made for.. This!
Chorus
I just can't believe! The hidden lives we live
The split identity, the constant work we put to into our screens
I just want to scream! None of this is real...
So are we good for nothing...
Are we lost.. Are we missing..
Drowning..in this sea.. of egos battling
V2
So Tell what you see
A Lifestyle or a scene
Driven by a goal
The hearts and likes will stream
Does it make you whole?
or just a hole to fill
A public exposé?
So are we made for this!
